OM ASIATISKA FILMFESTIVALEN

Den ideella föreningen Asiatiska Filmfestivalen (AFF) har till ändamål att främja spridningen av filmer från Asien, i Sverige, bland annat genom att arrangera filmvisningar och den årligt återkommande Asiatiska Filmfestivalen. AFF fokuserar på filmer från Sydasien (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Indien, Maldiverna, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan), Östasien (Kina, Nordkorea, Sydkorea, Japan, Mongoliet, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Ryska Fjärran Östern) och Sydöstra Asien (Burma/Myanmar, Brunei, Indonesien, Kambodja,  Laos, Malaysia, Filippinerna, Singapore, Thailand, Östtimor, Vietnam)

AFF är en allmännyttig ideell förening med kulturellt ändamål. Den är politiskt, religiöst och affärsmässigt obunden.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • • In Stockholm, Grand is the headquarters of the festival since 2020. We encourage you to purchase your tickets online.

    • Tickets will also be available at the festival desk in Grand one hour prior to a screening.

    • Purchased tickets are not re-fundable.

    • Please always pay attention to the language of the subtitles: depending on the film rights and the available material, subtitles may be in English or Swedish.

    • Please make sure to arrive on time:
    - 5 minutes after a screening has started, you might be denied entry even if you already have a ticket.
    - when there is high demand for a film, AFF will allocate the empty seats to the persons on the waiting lists in order of reservation.

    • Prices:
    - Standard tickets: 110 sek
    - Reduced price for students, disabled, unemployed or on sick leave persons, or pensioners: 90 sek
    - < 15 years old: 30 sek
    applies only to the films of the section Unga AFF.
    - If you cannot present documentation you may be asked to pay the price for a standard ticket (110 sek) or may be denied entry.

    Tickets for other cities can be purchased at the respective theaters’s website or on site. Please refer to each theater’s policies.
